JASCO Japanese Language Class Summer 2020
-Japanese 5 part 2-
This is a course for those who have experience in learning Japanese about two years in the past. Enrolling students should feel comfortable with speaking basic Japanese on everyday topics as well as reading materials with basic kanji.
The Summer 2020 Japanese 5 part 1 course is Part 2 of a 4-part curriculum that began in Spring 2020 and will continue in Fall 2020. It uses The Japan Foundation’s Marugoto: Japanese Language and Culture Pre-Intermediate A2/B1 Coursebook. This class is designed to help you reach CEFR Level A2-Basic User/B1-Intermediate User, and JLPT N4 proficiency. By the end of the four class sessions (part 1 through part 4), you will be able to:
- understanding the main points of clear standard input on familiar matters regularly encountered in work, school, leisure, etc.
- deal with most situations likely to arise whilst traveling in an area where the language is spoken
- produce simple connected text on topics which are familiar or of personal interest
- describe experiences and events, dreams, hopes and ambitions, and briefly give reasons and explanations for opinions and plans
