Speakers

Dr. Natalie Kompa, EdD, MBA

Assistant Professor and Program Director, Public Relationship and Marketing Communications, Business Division, Ohio Dominican University


After 20 years in industry as a corporate communications executive, Natalie decided to share her passion for public relations, marketing communications and leadership through teaching, consulting and research. As a professor of public relations and marketing communications and the director of innovation and entrepreneurship at Ohio Dominican University, it is her privilege to work with businesses, nonprofit organizations, entrepreneurs and students to improve communication and business outcomes. Her research focus centers on Generation Z (students and workers born in 1995 and later), employee engagement and leadership communication behaviors.

Josh Pennington

Founder/Pastor, More Life Church; Coach, Speaker and Trainer, John Maxwell Team

Josh Pennington is founder and pastor of More Life Church located in Newark, Ohio.


He studied communications at The Ohio State University and expanded his learning at a small private bible school in northeast Oklahoma. Josh is a certified coach, speaker and trainer with the John Maxwell Team. He has experience in a wide range of industries varying from real estate to non-profits. These experiences have helped him develop a keen understanding that eachorganization and leadership team is unique.


In 2004, Josh and Angie founded More Life Church. Services began October 3, 2004, with a core group of 35-40 people. Current attendance exceeds 1,500 and is still growing.


As a husband to a fantastic wife and a father to four incredible children, Josh understands many of the demands that life places on people, and he is passionate about seeing people empowered and motivated to help them reach their full potential.
