Bilingual Executive Assistant - Honda Trading America

Honda Trading America is the largest subsidiary of Honda Trading Japan, the global supply chain management solution for Honda. Honda Trading America, is the largest subsidiary of Honda Trading Japan, global supply chain management solution for Honda. We are seeking an Executive Assistant to provide support to the President and Executive Team; this role requires attention to detail, the ability to meet tight deadlines, efficient organizational skills, and the ability to switch gears at a moment's notice. This position can be very fulfilling for the right person that has a good blend of relationship building, ability to multi-task, and Japanese/English language skills. The successful candidate will possess the ability navigate cross culturally with global headquarters and colleagues in Japan, react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround, establish and meet deadlines in alignment with the goals of the executive team. This role will complete a broad variety of administrative tasks including: managing the calendar of appointments; power point presentation support; composing and preparing correspondence; arranging frequent travel, itineraries and agendas; corporate event planning and logistics; coordination of business meetings; preparation of corporate communication and articles for intranet; and secretariat role for HT global scheduling and communication support.

 

Qualifications are as followed:

 

Bachelor's Degree in Communications preferred with a minimum 5+ years of experience in high level administrative/executive support

Must be bilingual Japanese and English language with strong ability to read, write and speak

The candidate should be able to work successfully in a highly international, cross functional team environment, build effective working relationships inside and outside of the office and across key locations, and to stay in the flow of information to maintain a comprehensive awareness of the organization.  Demonstrated excellence in:  Writing Skills, Reporting Skills, Scheduling, Microsoft Office Skills, Organization, Time Management, Presentation Skills, Equipment Maintenance, Travel Logistics, Verbal Communication
