This month, JASCO Culture Club will explore Kodomo no hi!
Celebrated on May 5th every year, Kodomo no hi (こどもの日, “Children’s Day) is a festival held to celebrate children’s individual strengths and happiness. For Kodomo no hi, families raise koinobori (carp-shaped kites), and display a Kintaro doll (a doll of a folk hero) riding a carp.
Come join us for a Saturday of stories and crafts, as we’ll learn about the Kintaro story and make our own koinobori! This is a kid-friendly event: bring your children, family members and friends!
When: Sat. May 20th from 2:00pm to 3:30pm
Where: Networking Room (1st Floor) 565 Metro Place South, Dublin, OH 43017 map
Cost: Free for JASCO members, $10 for non-members.
What to bring: scissors
The registration will close once the event reaches the maximum capacity (20 people). Sign up today to secure your spot!
