KIMONO PORTRAIT SESSION - SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 24, 2018
Join JASCO as we present a unique opportunity: a kimono portrait photography session in collaboration with Columbus Kimono, Milestone Memories Photography, and hair/makeup artist Stephanie Whitcomb!
When: Saturday, February 24, 2018
Where: R&L Digital Studio, 2125 W. 5th Ave, Columbus, OH 43212
Single/Couple- $200 for JASCO members, $250 for non-members
Family: $275 for JASCO members, $325 for non-members
Sign up for a kimono portrait session, where you will:
- be dressed in a kimono of your choice (sets provided by Columbus Kimono);
- have your hair and makeup done to match the kimono (hair/makeup work by Stephanie Whitcomb); and,
- get a portrait photography session, complete with both physical prints and a digital gallery of your photos (photography and prints by Mika Murakami DeMura of Milestone Memories Photography)!
Singles/couples will receive 3 prints: 2 5x7, and 1 8x10. Families, meanwhile, will receive 5 prints: 3 5x7, and 2 8x10. (If you want more prints, you can make arrangements with Milestone Memories Photography).
Children must be 5 years or older to be dressed.
It may be possible for participants to bring their own kimono; to inquire about this possibility, please contact JASCO at email@example.com.
About the Session
The day will be split into two blocks: the morning, 9-12 PM, is for singles/couples, while the afternoon, 1-5 PM, is for families.
Space is limited! There will be 6 slots for singles/couples, and 4 slots for families. Upon registration, you will be contacted by JASCO to select a time, based on the schedule of start times below:
Singles/Couples (1 hour sessions)
Families (2 hour sessions)
About the Registration Cost
The registration fee include:
- kimono rental
- kimono dressing and undressing
- hair and make-up
- photography session
- physical prints and digital photo gallery
Registration fees are the same regardless of whether to not all participants in the photo wear a kimono.
Registration will close on February 3.
Upon registration, you will receive a request from Columbus Kimono for additional information related to the kimono dressing.
